October 19, 2014 – This week’s winner on CBC’s competition series CANADA’S SMARTEST PERSON is 33-year-old magazine editor Victoria Leenders-Cheng, of Montreal, QC.

Leenders-Cheng is a ‘jill of all trades’ as a busy mother of two, a full-time editor of McGill Law School’s Alumni magazine, a classically trained musician, and an accomplished athlete.  Her wide range of abilities is what made her a top threat this week as she wins a spot in the CANADA’S SMARTEST PERSON season finale.

Leenders-Cheng will join copywriter Mith Das of Toronto, ON, firefighter Chris Tessaro of Mississauga, ON and Albert Tam of Woodbridge, ON in the series finale later this fall as they battle it out to take home the title of CANADA’S SMARTEST PERSON.

Tune in on Sunday, October 26 at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) as a fighter pilot, a musician, a doctor and a PhD student compete in six revealing intelligence challenges that go beyond the average IQ test or trivia quiz.
